The Tecno Spark 9 Pro Sport Edition is created with a fusion of Designworks’ world-class automobile design and Tecno’s touches to reflect passion, speed, and style. It features a blue and white color scheme inspired by an icy crystal talisman. The triangular texture and diamond-cut elements on the back give the device a luxurious finish. The two circular camera rings have a touch of the iconic BMW logo. “While there is a difference in scale, something smartphones and cars have in common is that they are extremely personal and are relied on daily by their users, and they are also a means of personal expression,” said Andre De Salis, Creative Director at Designworks.

The Tecno Spark 9 Pro Sport Edition is aimed at budget-orientated customers. It sports a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2460 pixels) and a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood is MediaTek’s Helio G85 processor, supported by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone supports a microSD card for additional storage space. It can also take in two nano SIM cards at the same time. Looking at the rear camera array, it may seem that the Tecno Spark 9 Pro Sport Edition has two cameras on the back. But there are three of them. You get a 50MP primary shooter with an f/1.6 aperture and 77-degree visual angle. It sits alongside a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and 88.9-degree visual angle, and a QVGA camera. The front camera is a 32MP sensor. Tecno has equipped dual LED flash on both sides. The company is offering camera features such as night mode, beauty mode, portrait mode, AI scene recognition, HDR, and more. Other highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Android 12-based software, FM radio, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, and GPS. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast wired charging over a USB Type-C port.
