I would recommend everyone facing the issue check for software updates regularly. Step 1: To check for updates, open the Settings app and tap on General. Step 2: Under General settings, tap on Software Update. Now your iPhone will check for updates if an update appears on the screen, tap on Download and install to download the update. You can turn on Automatic updates from the Software Update page. Tap on the Automatic Updates section and turn on the toggle to download iOS updates and Install iOS updates.
7. Restart your iPhone
Another easiest yet effective fix is to restart your iPhone. As I mentioned earlier, the issue is because of a Caching bug. Restarting your iPhone will clear all the background processes and remove the System memory. To restart iPhone X or later, press and hold the Volume up button and Power Button simultaneously. When done correctly, an Emergency menu will appear on the screen with an option to power off at the top. Slide the Power Switch icon from left to right to power off your iPhone. Please wait for a few seconds and press the power button to turn it back on.
8. Downgrade to iOS 15
As you face the issue on iOS 15.1, you might be thinking, why not downgrade to iOS 15.0. But let me tell you, Apple has blocked downgrades from iOS 15.1. You can’t downgrade to iOS 15 even if you want to. So now, downgrading to iOS 15 is not an option anymore. You will have to either try other fixes or wait for Apple to push an update to fix the iOS 15.1 calendar.
9. Reset your iPhone
I know it is tough to reset your iPhone. But when Apple users contacted Support, they asked them to reset their iPhone, and it did help them in fixing the issue. You should try resetting as the last option if none of those above-mentioned fixed work for you. Step 1: To reset your iPhone, first of all, open the Settings app. In the Settings app, tap on General. Step 2: Under General settings, scroll down to Transfer or Reset iPhone option. Step 3: Under Transfer or Reset iPhone, Tap on Erase All Content and Settings. Step 4: A confirmation screen will appear confirming what data will get removed from your iPhone. Tap on Continue and enter your Passcode. Step 5: Now the iPhone will start uploading all your data to iCloud. I also recommended you take an iCloud backup before you reset your iPhone. But in case you want to start fresh, tap on Skip Backup. Step 6: After it enters your Apple ID password to turn off the Find My and Activation lock, to reset your iPhone, it will take you to the final confirmation screen tap on Erase.
10. Contact Apple Support
