Fix AirPods Max Noise Control Button Not Working
1. Restart AirPods Max
As an AirPods Max user, you already know you can’t turn it. There is no power button to turn it off or on as per your requirement. But thankfully, Apple has added a way to restart the AirPods Max. Try a simple restart if you face any issue with the noise control button on your Airpods Max. Follow the below steps to restart an AirPods Max. Step 1: Press and hold the Noise Control button and Digital Crown on the right ear cup simultaneously. Step 2: Keep holding the buttons for 12 seconds. After it, the status light next to the charging port will flash amber. If you see the status light, immediately release the buttons. That’s it you have successfully restarted your AirPods Max. Note: Don’t hold the button for more than 12 seconds, as having it more than that will reset the AirPods Max instead of restarting it.
2. Reconnect AirPods Max
Like every other Wireless Headphone, AirPods Max uses Bluetooth to connect with the iPhone or any other device. If the Noise Control Button is not working, it does not mean the button is at fault. Sometimes it could be a Bluetooth connection issue. If AirPods Max does not connect because of a faulty Bluetooth connection, the button will not work. Step 1: Press and hold the Noise Control button and Digital Crown on the right ear cup simultaneously. Step 2: Continue holding both the buttons for 15 seconds. The status light next to the charging port will change from flashing amber to white. That’s it; you have successfully reset the AirPods Max.
4. Contact Apple Support
I know you will complain about pressuring the Noise Control button if it is not working. I am just asking you to give it a shot if, by any chance, it will help you.
