  1. To customize Android TV Home Screen, begin with what apps you want on the first row. To add new apps, scroll right to the “+” button, and open it. Here, you will find the list of all installed apps. Now, simply select the app and it will be added to the first row.

  2. To move the app to the front of the homepage, hold and press the app and select “Move”. Now, use the navigation button on your remote to change the position and finally press the “OK” button on your remote to save the changes.

  3. You can also press and hold the “Home” button (generally a circular icon) on your remote to open the list of all apps. From here, you can at once remove apps from the home screen, move them and uninstall the apps as well.

  4. That was all about the apps, but if you want to customize the content recommendation by certain apps on the Android TV home screen then here are the steps to follow. Scroll down and move to the bottom. Here, open “Customize Channels”.
