It’s no secret that kids love watching superhero flicks loaded with jaw-dropping actions. So, I have made sure the roster has some of the most loved superhero movies of all time. Keeping in mind the taste of the grown-ups, the films with plenty of comedy and drama have also been chosen. Oh yes, I have also given a shot to the musical fantasies, so that everyone can break a leg with absolute fun. Set in 1930s London, the film has got everything you would want to set your music-driven fantasy on cloud nine!

Personally, I have enjoyed watching this Japanese animated fantasy flick thanks to the awesome story. And, I’m sure you would also love it a lot!

8. The Little Prince (2015)

The film showcases the relationship among the foster siblings and how they together can stop evil from overtaking the world.

He convinces his younger self to join him in his mission and help him repair the jet while the authorities from the future are tailing him. Will the heroes successfully save the future and at what cost is fun to watch.

However, his experiment goes awry and the machine becomes destructive for the world. Can Flint save the world from this deadly machine?

In addition, there are two indirect sequels following a similar concept starring Dwayne Johnson.

When the kids are kidnapped by robbers, the puppy comes to the rescue out of nowhere. Watch it to discover the unmatched loyalty of a little puppy!

26. Hugo (2011)

The film takes a surprising turn when the boy gets embroiled into a mystery that involves his late father’s invention. The film is set in the 1930s and the director has painted the life of yesteryear in impressive detail. If you have a penchant for a bit of mystery and drama then you are going to love watching Hugo with your family. Not to mention, Hugo won 5 Academy Awards and received 11 nominations for its critical acclaim worldwide. 27. Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011)

Among all the Kung Fu Panda movies, I particularly love the second installment. Kung Fu Panda 2 makes for a great watch with family because of its incredible animation, storyline, and comedy. The film revolves around Po and the Furious Five who fight against a dangerous peacock named Lord Shen. Lord Shen has an evil plan to conquer China, but Po takes it upon himself to save the country from destruction and mayhem. Along the way, Po discovers his past secret which changes the story dramatically. If you compare Kung Fu Panda 2 with its predecessor, you would find that the story is much bolder and the enemy is much more threatening. But that makes it equally enjoyable. So if you want to watch an animated movie on Netflix with your family then Kung Fu Panda 2 should be your top pick.

28. The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind (2019)

However, the boy has immense grit and persistence to succeed at anything. So he sneaks into the library and learns how to build a treadmill. Later, the treadmill saves the whole village from a widespread famine. I would say if you want to teach your children the power of persistence and hard work then do watch this movie with your family.

I know, it sounds amateurish, but thankfully, the film manages to escape the familiar trope. In fact, Klaus offers an alternate origin story of Santa Claus, different from the historical take of Saint Nicholas of Myra. The movie is set in a fictional 19th-century world where a postman working on an island makes friends with a toymaker. What happens after that would make you laugh and absorb you into the story. In a way, it’s a Christmas film, but with a great storyline and fresh voices. So go ahead and watch Kalus on Netflix with your family and you won’t be disappointed.

30. The Adventures of Tintin (2011)

Directed by Steven Spielberg, this movie makes for a thrilling watch due to its action-adventure theme. The movie follows Tintin, a young reporter who goes on to buy the model of a ship. However, his dog indicates some clue that sets them off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship.
